Distant Journey

Following Hana, an Orthodox Jewish eye doctor who falls in love with and marries a Gentile named Tonk, the film Distant Journey is set in the present day. When the government begins the systematic killing of Jews, their sweet love tale quickly turns into a nightmare. Hana's family is deported to Theresienstadt, and the romance quickly turns into a survival struggle.
