Rudy: The Rudy Giuliani Story
Biographic picture of the witty, over achieving, hot tempered Rudy Giuliani, crossing from his rising days as a New York district attorney in the early 1980s into his union to part-time celebrity Donna Hanover, to his candidacy for mayor of New York City and his contentious procedures to tackle the city's crime and urban problems, as well as his romance with his helper Cristyne Lategano that lead to the failure of his union, to his own fight with prostate cancer, all leading up to the dreadful afternoon of September 11, 2001 that Guiliani himself narrowly escaped death after suicide terrorists hijacked and crashed two passenger airliners into the twin World Trade Center towers resulting in their meltdown in which Guiliani's strength and lively nature help calm the city's residents to face the chaos on such day that made him a national hero.
