The Gun in Betty Lou's Handbag

Betty Lou is currently a librarian in a town that is really tiny. Her husband is a police detective who takes her for granted. Betty Lou is the mouse. After having a gangland figure is inexplicably murdered in town, Betty Lou finds the murder weapon, but can not catch anyone's attention to inform them (we're speaking very mousey, here). Finally in a sense of frustration she moves the gun in a restroom when taken into the police station claims she is the murderer. It has the effectthat people do pay attention.
