The show follows the lives of eight housemates spending their summer at the Jersey Shore at the U.S. state of nj. Season 2 followed closely the cast escaping the chilly temperate winter to Miami Beach, together with Season 3 returning into the Jersey Shore. The summer expired on August 4, 2011. The series returned for a season. The season finale aired on March 15, 2012. On March 19, 2012, MTV affirmed that the show would go back for their season. On August 30, 2012, MTV announced that the Jersey-Shore would end after the first season, which originated on October 4. The show finale aired on December 20, 2012.
