K9 is just a British/Australian comedy/adventure series emphasizing the adventures of the robot dog K-9 from the tv show Doctor Who, achieved by blending video cartoon and live action. The first installment aired on satellite station Disney XD in Ireland & the UK as a sneak preview of the show around Halloween 2009. By October 2010, the full series has started broadcasting Disney XD in the UK & Ireland, in Australia on Network Ten. Scandinavia, Poland, Italy and The Netherlands and Disney Channel CEE in Slovakia, Romania, Moldava, Bulgaria, Hungary and The Czech Republic. A second show is in evolution and the first season is scheduled to be syndicated together with two supported networks in New Zealand, across the world , other networks have yet to be announced. In the united kingdom, Channel 5 broadcast the very season between April 2011 and December 2010. The US cable station Syfy started broadcasting the series around 25 December 2012, initially by broadcasting the entire initial season.
