Making Out

Making Out is actually a British television show, shown by the BBC between 1991 and 1989. The sequence, created by Franc Roddam, written by Debbie Horsfield, mixed comedy and play in its portrayal of those women who worked on the mill floor in New Lyne Electronics in Manchester, handling the personal lives of those characters as well as wider issues of downturn, redundancy and retrenchment since the mill experiences various crises and take-overs.
