Matador
Matador is just a television show produced and shown between 1982 and 1978. It's set at the fictional town of Korsbæk between 1929 and 1947. It follows the lives of a selection of characters from throughout the social spectrum, focusing specifically on the competition between the families of 2 sailors: The banker Hans Christian Varnæs, an established neighborhood instrumental, also societal climber Mads Skjern, that resides in the town as the series opens. The name Matador was shot from the localised edition of this board game Monopoly, also the show' tentative title that was Language. Moreover, in contemporary Danish a"matador" is usually utilized to refer to a company tycoon, at the show discussing to this character of Mads Skjern and his craftiness as being a self-made entrepreneur.
Directed by famous film manufacturer Erik Balling, Matador was author Lise Nørgaard's Notion who composed the bulk of the episodes along with Paul Hammerich, Jens Louis Petersen and Karen Smith. The show reflects the peak of longtime evolution of Danish television play by the public service channel Danmarks Radio and is just one of the very most famous and favorite samples of Danish tv.
