Miracles
Miracles can be an American play tv program starring Angus Macfadyen and Skeet Ulrich. Created by Richard Hatem and Michael Petroni, the show has sometimes been dubbed a"spiritual variant of The xfiles" by its creators. Following pilot, David Greenwalt, co-creator of Angel functioned since the executive producer and head writer for the a dozen episodes of the show.
Miracles follows Paul Callan, an investigator of miracles for the Catholic Church that questions his own faith after finding ordinary explanations for assorted supposed happenings. After he witnesses a true, supernatural miracle which saves his life, only because of his findings on to be disregarded on a lack of signs, Paul leaves behind the Church and can be approached by Alva Keel to join his own company Sodalitas Quaerito, exploring and cataloguing"unexplainable" happenings. Along with former officer Evelyn Santos, both Paul and Alva try to battle the impending"shadow" before it's too late.
The show proved as a part of ABC's new"Super Monday" line-up on January 27, 2003. Six episodes were aired on ABC until the show had been canceled due to low ratings, with its final broadcast episode drawing just 5.7 million audiences around March 3 1, 2003. The show had been preempted a number of times during its runand once to get a rebroadcast of the documentary special living with Michael Jackson along with various different times to air newsmagazine cries concerning the then-developing Iraq War. Fans, angered by the rescue and what they saw because ABC's mismanagement of the Monday 10:00 pm time slot of the show, began a buff effort to bring back the series. Fans wrote messages on napkins and mailed them into various networks expecting that the series will be restored by a separate media, however efforts were unsuccessful and the series did not continue past its initial order of episodes.
