Frieda - Coming Home
Mark and Olivia, a young American couple, are expecting their first child. Prior to that, they wish to fulfill their ambition of traveling to Europe. They reserve private rooms via an online site and begin their four-week tour. Elisabeth meets them at the airport upon their arrival in Germany. She is the daughter of the landlady of Mark and Olivia's first home, a tiny house on the shores of a gorgeous lake in Olivia's great-grandparents' village. They discover that their 82-year-old landlady is dying in the hospital. Elisabeth arrives at the house with Mark and Olivia. The two teenagers then spend their first night in Germany. A night during which Mark develops a unique relationship with the proprietor. The following morning, the house near the lake seems eerily quiet. And no one will be aware of what occurred just a few hours ago.
