Nathan and Holly Teller live in a small Pennsylvania town. Holly is a member of the cheerleading squad and is close with her younger brother Nathan, who is bullied at school. The bullies take Nathan for a ride one day, but it's unclear what they plan to do with him. He gives them the slip, but then vanishes, and three years later he is still gone.
