A mysterious serial killer murders his victims in Madrid, Spain, by recreating the first appearances of several comic book superheroes. Cosme, a veteran police inspector about to retire, works on the case with the tormented inspector David Valentn and his own son Jorge Elas, a nerdy young man who owns a comic book store.
