A New Jersey college student named Emily Mason ends up 1,000 miles away from home, selling Christian books door-to-door in a dusty, dying small town in the southern United States, where she meets a lot of new friends. Emily has a series of misadventures in the "Book field" and makes new friends at the Valley Inn. At the Valley Inn, Emily learns what is important in life. Valley Inn is more than a movie. It's a love letter to small-town America. A tribute to a way of life that is quickly dying out. All movies should make the audience laugh and cry, but Valley Inn does both at the same time. Audiences, like Emily, will fall in love with the Valley Inn, the small town setting, and all of the quirky people.
